Which is the best place to get a free email account set up for an eight year old?
Gmail is pretty cool and easy to use but Yahoo mail beta is good too. In Yahoo mail beta you can drag and drop your emails into the trash box. You should try both and see what your child likes

Also, Gmail is great for fun.. It inculdes a Gmail to Gmail chat, a special mail search, mail block (you can block certain senders, etc) and many more.


I have a hotmail, a gmail and a yahoo accrount... I pefer Gmail becasue the interface is really good.
Reply:mmmm.....maybe she needs to wait a little while longer....im not a parent but i waited until i turned 12 to create an email...just becuase i felt more mature and responsible and trustworthy at that age :)
