How do i set up an email account (microsoft outlook 2003) on a laptop?
the easiest and only way I know of is sign on to your isp and open outlook and then on the toolbar click 'tools' and then 'accounts' if the one one your trying to create is already there you can click 'properties' and check the info in each tab otherwise click 'add' and follow the wizard, it's pretty straight forward, when you are finished and if it does not get your mail you may have to assign the correct port numbers but don't worry too much about that as the wizard does a pretty good job, if there's room I'll paste aol's guide to set up outlook you should be able to apply it to your situation

Create a new e-mail account in Outlook

1. Sign in to AOL.

2. Open Outlook.

If you receive a message to register Outlook as the default manager for e-mail messages, click Yes.

3. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.

4. In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add, and then click Mail.

5. In the Internet Connection Wizard, in the Display name box, type your name as you want it to appear to other people, and then click Next.
